PRESS RELEASE: UNIVERSAL VESSELS OF BF TANKER COMPANY HAVE DELIVERED CHIP STONE TO MOSCOW

It was the first reverse load for our vessels and our first dry cargo contract.

Universal vessels of RST-54 Balt Flot 1 and Balt Flot 3 type (BF Tanker Ltd. owner) have delivered two batches of chip stone from the Onega Lake (the Republic of Karelia) to Moscow, the North port. The loading activity took less than one day. To improve efficiency and reliability of the loading process the forwarder used up-to-date stevedoring equipment for the chip stone loading.
It was the first reverse load for our vessels and our first dry cargo contract. Despite the low margins in transporting chip stone, our company finds this type of material excellent for reverse loading voyages. The modern vessels of RST-54 type allow such transportation to reach a higher level of efficiency owing to the reverse loading with bulk dry and mixed freight. The main freight for these vessels will continue to be the transportation of oil products. At the same time, we are planning to increase the transportation of chip stone, steel, containers and project cargo (oversize cargo, equipment).
BF Tanker Ltd. would like to thank our charterers for their continued cooperation.
